Abstract

The ethics of the teacher linked to education today highlights the duties that teachers must assume without this implying neglect of their rights. The article in question is projected towards the use of theoretical references that provide an answer to the following question: How can today's teacher from his ethical perspective in the pedagogical act, train in autonomy, respect for the other and experience in values? In it, teaching responsibilities are analyzed in relation to the pedagogy of otherness, which constitutes an undeniable value orientation for education, in particular for reflections on pedagogical praxis through discursive exchanges with teachers.
