Ergonomic risk in refrigerated chambers is a significant concern for companies like Logiztik Alliance, where workers face low temperatures, high humidity, and repetitive movements. These harsh conditions can lead to musculoskeletal disorders and negatively impact operational productivity, affecting employee well-being and overall performance. Poor ergonomics can reduce efficiency, increase absenteeism, and raise healthcare costs. This study aims to identify ergonomic risk factors in refrigerated areas and recommend preventive measures to improve working conditions and employee health. The methodology used is both descriptive and analytical, based on direct observation of postures, load handling, and routes. A detailed checklist was also applied, and a structured interview was conducted with the manager to understand their perception of risks and the preventive actions taken to mitigate them. The results show that prolonged exposure to cold, handling loads without ergonomic aids, and improper postures are the main risk factors. It was identified that workers walk long distances carrying heavy loads without appropriate equipment, increasing fatigue, physical strain, and the risk of various work-related injuries. These factors may result in a decrease in workforce efficiency and long-term health complications. To reduce these risks, it is recommended to redesign workstations following ergonomic principles, implement shift rotation, provide load-handling assistance equipment, and train employees in ergonomics through practical and instructional workshops. Regular assessments should be made to ensure that measures remain effective. These measures will contribute to improving worker health, reducing costs associated with occupational diseases, and optimizing the company's productivity, ensuring safer and more efficient working conditions.
