Abstract

Occupational risk prevention is a discipline that seeks to improve the safety and health of workers. This is achieved through the application of measures and actions that prevent risks arising from work, it is understood as occupational risk to existing dangers in profession and professional task, as well as in the environment or workplace susceptible to cause accidents or any type of accidents that can cause some damage or health problem both physical and psychological The purpose of this research is to improve work environments and avoid risks through prevention by implementing a Management System and Safety at Work, It is recommended to identify the hazards, which are a source, situation or act with the potential to cause human harm or deterioration of health, or a combination of these, present in the companies by the different jobs, as well as to investigate, prevention to be recorded and to determine the integral operative controls, For this reason, organizations have long been dedicated to regulate through compliance laws, safety and hygiene of workers, in order to provide continuous support, however it is important to know the risks and dangers to which they are exposed in the workplace, With a methodology of mixed type, quantitative contributing with historical data collected and qualitative where we describe, analyze, understand the facts according to the data investigated, to achieve success in the safety at work is to encourage employees to identify unsafe behaviors that are carried out and the opportunities for improvement during the tasks performed.
