Abstract

The present article is based on the reflection on the philosophical and methodological visions of doctoral studies in Education, taking as reference the Venezuelan case. To this end, a number of authors have been consulted who provide their theoretical contribution from different perspectives, which makes it possible to inform epistemologically a model of qualitative exploration, which allows to understand the weaknesses that exist in the study of the fourth level in the educational area. In this field of the Doctor's knowledge, since, doctoral training in education sciences, has had a remarkable boost in Venezuela, the constant increase of doctoral studies carried out, however, the construction of philosophical and Methodological visions, present difficulties that affect it that the future Doctor, the restlessness begins from my professional experience and systematic study of these problems , which have marked successes and failures in dozens of research projects and more than a hundred doctoral theses and scientific articles.  The faults that arise are generated by dilogical exchange with key subjects who are taking such program, so an unstructure interview is applied in the universities ULAC- UDO Core of Sucre, according to personal experience in the training of future Doctor in the specialty of Eduction Sciences. The criteria are processed through a qualitative methodology, which have a high degree of coincidence and reveal several problems related to the insufficient philosophical and methodological preparations of applicants, the weakness of theoretical and methodological designs and the lack of rigor of scientific results presented due to lack of preparation and advice. Several suggestions are proposed to continue researching this problem, as well as ways to improve the professionalization of the doctors already trained.facilitating the acquisition of new knowledge that provides meanings from the academic, human and sensitive.
