This research analyzes the use of technological tools for the identification of occupational risks and their impact on accident prevention in the industrial sector. In a context characterized by increasingly complex production processes, occupational safety and health management has been strengthened through the incorporation of technologies such as smart sensors, real-time monitoring systems, risk management software, data analysis, and digital training platforms. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these tools in the early detection of hazardous conditions, the reduction of exposure to risk factors, and timely preventive decision-making.The methodology adopted is based on a quantitative–descriptive approach, supported by documentary review and the analysis of information obtained from accident reports, industrial safety records, and the perceptions of workers and safety managers. The results show that the implementation of technological tools significantly improves the processes of occupational risk identification and assessment, enabling more efficient control of unsafe conditions and a reduction in workplace incidents and accidents. In conclusion, the appropriate use of technological tools represents a key factor in optimizing accident prevention in the industrial sector, provided that their implementation is accompanied by continuous training, organizational commitment, and proper integration with occupational safety and health management systems.
