The implementation of an occupational health and safety system is vital to guaranteeing the comprehensive protection of workers and the sustainability of organizations. This is achieved through collaboration between employers and occupational safety professionals, using established measures and procedures that prioritize an action plan and establish appropriate procedures to ensure a reduction in the incidence of workplace accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses. This not only influences the physical and mental well-being of workers by implementing a culture of preventative safety; correctly identifying the occupational risks to which our workers are exposed; and adhering to the guidelines of regulatory bodies and current legal regulations, such as the Ministry of Labor and Occupational Risk Prevention, thus avoiding unnecessary sanctions and closures that affect the proper functioning of companies. The adoption of these systems demonstrates corporate commitment, social responsibility, and sustainable development. This, in turn, improves productivity by preventing accidents that disrupt their work and lead to absenteeism. The purpose of this research is to improve work environments and mitigate risks through prevention by implementing a Workplace Safety and Management System.
