This article was written with the objective of designing comprehensive preventive protocols for the reduction and control of musculoskeletal disorders in workers at Fastdrilling S.A. in the Shushufindi area. A qualitative methodology was employed, focusing primarily on a literature review to identify national and international standards governing the control of musculoskeletal disorders within the context of the study, namely, the oil sector. A field study was also conducted, using diagnostic tools and observation checklists to determine the company's current situation and identify areas for improvement in order to strengthen the work environment and, consequently, provide greater comfort to the company's employees. The findings from field data collection reveal that, in the industrial sector, 68% of workers report recurring muscle discomfort at some point, stemming from poor posture. High-frequency repetitive tasks increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders by 30%, both in administrative and operational areas, due to the nature of the business. Consequently, these work-related physical discomforts can negatively impact employee performance within the same institution, as their working conditions are not optimal, and they sometimes require medical attention and rest. At Fastdrilling S.A. Shushufindi, the need for a comprehensive approach is evident, as various factors are recognized as determinants of workers' musculoskeletal health, and these must be improved to facilitate better working conditions. In this sense, it is concluded that integrating these strategies within a broad occupational health program will allow combining physical prevention with comprehensive well-being, ensuring that workers are physically and emotionally prepared to perform their tasks safely.
