This article aims to provide practical solutions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following the best practices in the industry. A non-experimental, qualitative design was used, with a descriptive scope and a cross-sectional approach. A thorough review of national and international safety and health regulations was conducted to identify key risks and areas for improvement. Relevant risks within the oil industry were detected, and preventive strategies were proposed to mitigate these hazards. Workplace safety and health are essential for preventing occupational accidents and ensuring the well-being of workers. In light of this, a protocol for managing occupational safety and health was designed for the staff at SERTECPET Shushufindi, with the goal of reducing work-related incidents and improving working conditions. Safety measures, emergency procedures, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) were established as part of the safety protocol. Moreover, the importance of continuous training and promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace was emphasized. The results of the study indicated the need for continuous monitoring and updating of safety protocols to ensure a safe environment and comply with current regulations. The findings concluded that implementing effective safety strategies significantly reduces workplace accidents by minimizing risks and strengthening the culture of prevention. Furthermore, these strategies not only protect workers' integrity but also enhance organizational performance, improve efficiency, reduce costs related to incidents, and foster a more positive, productive, and collaborative work environment, benefiting both workers and the organization as a whole, contributing to overall success and sustainability
