This research work was developed with the purpose of identifying possible ergonomics-related ailments affecting the administrative staff of the Decentralized Autonomous Government of the Calpi parish. Based on a preliminary visual inspection of the various workspaces, it is evident that the conditions are not entirely adequate, mainly due to the type of furniture used, the improper postures adopted by the workers, and the constant repetition of movements throughout the workday. These factors, if sustained over time, can become significant ergonomic risks and lead to occupational diseases. A low level of knowledge about ergonomics, correct postures, and preventive measures was also observed, increasing the likelihood of musculoskeletal disorders. For the development of this research, we start with the application of the descriptive method, to subsequently carry out an ergonomic evaluation will be conducted using the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) method, which was selected due to its effectiveness in administrative environments, as highlighted by various specialized authors. This research will allow for the analysis of postures adopted during the workday, the identification of risk levels, and the establishment of corrective intervention needs. As preventive measures, the implementation of active breaks, awareness campaigns on postural hygiene, and the potential acquisition of ergonomic furniture adapted to the physical characteristics and needs of each worker are proposed. These actions will help mitigate the negative effects of poor posture and improve the physical well-being of the staff, also enhancing productivity and institutional efficiency.
