Abstract

The present work arises from the research carried out by Lic. Figueredo, presented to opt for the title of Bachelor of Initial Education at the Metropolitan University, which obtained Honorable Mention, the research had the advice and accompaniment of Dr. Roversi Mónaco. The issue of school accompaniment that occupies families from the beginning of school to adulthood is addressed (Palomino, 2020), therefore it is of vital importance to unify efforts to educate parents and carry it out adequately (Initial Education Curriculum, CEI, 2005). At the C.E.I.D. La Libertad, the parents and representatives expressed to the teacher of II group B their anguish for not having the necessary tools to carry out the adequate accompaniment in the academic activities of the home, a situation that worsened with the social confinement as a preventive measure against COVID-19, since their educational role took greater prominence. For this reason, the teacher carried out this research with the objective of: proposing a workshop for the parents of the II group B of the C.E.I.D. La Libertad Preschool aimed at guiding them in the adequate accompaniment in the academic activities of the home. He used as references Vygotsky (1978) and Brofrembrenner (1987), UNICEF Mexico (2020), among other authors who contribute to the subject. It developed a feasible type of research, field design, descriptive level, with a population of 16 parents and representatives who answered a survey, questionnaire type where data was collected such as: who are in charge of the accompaniment, what is the routine, the space and the provision of household materials, what are the attitudes of the parents and children in the accompaniment, the perceptions and knowledge of the parents regarding the subject and their openness to attend the workshop. This information was used to choose the topics for the design of the workshop that is developed based on the instructional design model of Aguilar (2020). The proposal was evaluated by the Institution as feasible, recommending its implementation.
