Abstract

This article compiles from an interpretive perspective the main ideas emanating from the research process on the sexual function of a group of men aged 18 to 30 belonging to the Asperger Foundation of Venezuela (FUNDASPERVEN). This research was based on the theory of the physiological variant of sex, the cognitive-behavioral theory and the process of sexual function. Regarding its methodology, it was approached from the field of qualitative approach, with a non-experimental design, with an exploratory field level and under a special project modality given the nature of the group addressed. Obtaining results that elucidate and allow us to understand the spectrum of sexuality in people (men) with the condition of Asperger's Syndrome, highlighting that they are sexual beings with an awake and functional sexuality.
