With the purpose of analyzing the working conditions influencing the psychological well- being of Hidrocons consortium workers, a research aimed at identifying the psychosocial risk factors associated with occupational stress in the construction sector was developed. A mixed methodological approach, combining quantitative and qualitative techniques, was applied through a structured Likert-type scale survey that was answered by a sample of 20 workers, both operational and administrative. The questionnaire included items related to workload, deadline pressure, physical conditions, organizational support and work-life balance. The results showed that the main sources of stress were pressure to meet goals, task overload and interference of work in personal life. A limited perception of support from superiors was also evidenced, which intensified emotional distress and affected job performance. The analysis allowed to conclude that these factors negatively incide on both mental and physical health of workers, generating attrition, demotivation and reduction in productivity. As a general contribution, the need to implement organizational strategies focused on improving psychosocial conditions, including strengthening participatory spaces such as parity committees, appropriate working time management and promoting a work climate that prioritizes comprehensive worker well-being, was highlighted
