Abstract

At present the world suffers the drastic and negative intervention of man on nature, a situation that has its origin in the lack of environmental awareness. That is why this study aims to promote the use of radio as an alternative teaching resource for environmental education. The work is part of a projective investigation, which has as its starting point the critical analysis of the contents that support the didactic proposal. As a result, a set of pedagogical actions was obtained for the design and production of a pro-environmentalist educational radio space. In conclusion, the radio is a valuable educational tool for citizens to appropriate knowledge and promote the development of positive attitudes towards nature and everything that exists, thus taking educational action beyond the classroom.
