Abstract

The research analyzes the importance of financial management for the competitiveness of microenterprises in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, due to the fact that microenterprises are facing the difficulty of being competitive in a global, dynamic and highly demanding market, in which it is required management tools that facilitate the process and with the purpose of favoring its development and promoting its support for the economic development of the country and the region. The methodological aspects focused on research under the quantitative paradigm, field type with non-experimental design and descriptive level. The population is made up of two thousand microenterprises registered in the Mayor's Office of the Metropolitan District of Caracas. It is concluded that the importance of the relationship between financial management and competitiveness of microenterprises in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas is high, since thanks to it, working capital is efficiently managed within a balance of risk and profitability criteria. , in addition to guiding the financial strategy to guarantee the availability of financing sources, thus guaranteeing its competitiveness by guaranteeing its productivity over time.
