Abstract

The objective of this argumentative essay is to analyze the role that labor competencies play in the directional framework of senior management in university organizations. Methodologically, it was approached in a documentary way, it was built from a theoretical review which highlights the importance of competence in the activity carried out by senior management that organizations have based on the conceptual knowledge of it. This allowed elucidating the capacity of a manager in the development of the scenarios he faces. Likewise, to be able to understand the creative intellectual process of the manager by allowing him as an individual to design, execute the guidelines, strategic and tactical processes of an academic unit, through the understanding, conceptualization and knowledge of the essence of his work together with the coordinated use of resources. . In conclusion, without a doubt, labor competencies constitute key elements of this process, allowing the manager to be seen in all his directive expression, as the main actor of the changes that organizations face today from their day to day. Conceive a senior management characterized by the association of its members at the time of sharing and complementing their skills, to make the team have the best behavior with the best results.
